How to apply for membership of TST
- I. Purpose of TST: The full name of TST is Textile Industry Sustainable Development Association of Taiwan
- II. Qualifications for membership:

- (I) Group Members: Any textile-related company, academic and research institution or organization that concurs in the purpose of TST can apply for group membership by submitting the application form, and will be accepted as a group member once the application is reviewed and approved by TST Board, and the admission fee and the perennial membership fee are paid. Group members can be classified into (1) profit-seeking enterprises, (2) non-profit organizations (such as incorporated foundations, juridical associations or schools). Group members should appoint representatives to exercise their membership rights. The number of appointed members is as follows:(1) Group members of profit-seeking enterprises are classified into the Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 according to the amount of paid-in capital, and the number of appointed members is as follows:
- (1) Group members of profit-seeking enterprises are classified into the Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3 according to the amount of paid-in capital, and the number of appointed members is as follows:
- Class 1 members: Those with a paid-in capital of more than NT$400 million (exclusive) can appoint 4 representatives.
- Class 2 members: Those with a paid-in capital between NT$100 million (exclusive) and NT$400 million (inclusive) can appoint 3 representatives
- Class 3 members: Those with a paid-in capital of less than NT$100 million (inclusive) can appoint 2 representatives
- (2) Group members of non-profit organizations can appoint 3 representatives.
- (II) Individual Members: Any scholar with more than ten years of related experiences and outstanding performance in sustainability-related research that concurs in the purpose of TST can apply for individual membership by submitting the application form, and will be accepted as an individual member once the application is reviewed and approved by TST Board, and the admission fee and the perennial membership fee are paid.
- (III) Permanent Members: Individuals or group members who pay perennial membership fee for 10 years at a time will become permanent members.
- (IV) Sponsor Members: Any organization, institution, school, or group that concurs in the purpose of TST and sponsors TST will be accepted as a sponsor member once reviewed and approved by TST Board.
- III. Membership fees:

- (I) Admission fee:
- (1) Group members of profit-seeking enterprises:
- 1. Class 1 members: NT$20 thousand for those with a paid-in capital of more than NT$400 million (exclusive), to be paid upon admission.
- 2. Class 2 members: NT$15 thousand for those with a paid-in capital between NT$100 million (exclusive) and NT$400 million (inclusive), to be paid upon admission.
- 3. Class 3 members: NT$10 thousand for those with a paid-in capital of less than NT$100 million (inclusive), to be paid upon admission.
- (2) Group members of non-profit organizations: NT$10 thousand, to be paid upon admission. (3) Individual members: NT$1.5 thousand, to be paid upon admission.
- (II) Perennial membership fee:
- (1) Group members of profit-seeking enterprises:
- 1. Class 1 members: NT$40 thousand for those with a paid-in capital of more than NT$400 million (exclusive)
- 2. Class 2 members: NT$30 thousand for those with a paid-in capital between NT$100 million (exclusive) and NT$400 million (inclusive)
- 3. Class 3 members: NT$20 thousand for those with a paid-in capital of less than NT$100 million (inclusive)
- (2) Group members of non-profit organizations: NT$20 thousand
- (3) Individual members: NT$3 thousand
- IV. Rights and Interests of TST Members:

- (I) Members (Member representatives) shall have the rights to vote, to elect, to be elected, and to remove.
- (II) When the capacity of relevant activities is limited, members (member representatives) shall have priority in participation.
- V. How to apply for membership:

- (I) Fill in and sign the application form. For group members, affix seals, sign and send it to TST Secretariat. For individual members, sign and send it together with a copy of the front and back of your ID card (for individual members) to TST Secretariat.
- (II) Upon completion of the membership review, a letter of approval for membership and a notice of payment will be sent.
